Laura Blake
Passionate about seeing relationships created between materials, people and place; her practice is based in interactive works. These range from site-specific sculptures with collective MidConversation to working as a designer with play-based not for profit Pop-Up Parks. She is currently researching into the creation of sensory toys and spaces as she embarks on an MA in Applied Arts at The University of Gothenburg. Preferring collaboration and variety, her experience has lead to freelance roles from theatre design to workshop facilitation and one-off commissions. Clients and exhibitions include The Museum Of Science & Industry, The National Trust, Manchester Craft & Design Centre, FutureEverything, Forest Of Imagination, BBC's Country File and more.
